Demand Overview (Total across the 10 Power Companies)

　○　Total demand in October was up 2.1% on last year to 66.2 billion kWh across the 10 companies.

　○　Commercial and lighting demand both posted increases of 1.7% and 2.9% respectively, due to a longer meter-reading period.

　　　・　Lighting Demand (up 2.9%, 18.33 billion kWh)

　　　・　Commercial Demand (up 1.7%, 13.19 billion kWh)

　○　Large industrial user demand in October was up for the fourth consecutive month, increasing by 2.4%. The increase resulted from firm performance in all sectors except the textile sector.
