Increased use of hydro and nuclear power depressed thermal generation.
31.70 billion kWh were generated, down 6.5%.
Nuclear
The capacity utilization rate at all companies was up compared to last
year, leading to a 9.8% rise to 24.14 billion kWh.
2. State of the Companies
Business results at all the companies were up for the second consecutive
month due to recovery in industrial demand.
Monthly Peak Load
Combined peak load for the ten companies was 152.402 million kWh (recorded
at 15:00, 30 June), up 4.9% on last year.
Flow Rates
Plentiful rainfall nationwide in June resulted in a figure of 107.2% across
the nine companies.
