Concerning the Schedule for the Arrival of the Seventh Shipment of Vitrified Waste to Japan

The above parties have announced that "Pacific Sandpiper," the transport ship that departed Cherbourg, France on 5 December 2001 carrying the seventh shipment of vitrified waste, will reach Japanese territorial waters at approximately 8:30 on 22 January. Estimated time of arrival at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, Rokkasho-Mura, Aomori prefecture is 11:00 the same day.
Unloading of the transport casks is scheduled to begin on 23 January at 8:50. The ship is scheduled to leave the port at approximately 15:00 same day.
