Concerning the Approximate Date of Arrival of the Fifth Return Shipment of Vitrified Waste from Europe To Japan

The above parties announced today that "Pacific Swan", the ship being used to transport the fifth shipment of vitrified waste which left Cherbourg, France on 29 December 1999, is scheduled to arrive at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, Rokkasho-Mura, Aomori prefecture, on 23 February 2000.
To aid the press in their coverage at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, a room for the media will be set up. The press room will open at 6:00 AM local time on 23 February.
