Total demand in November was up 1.2% to 65.6 billion kWh across the 10 companies.

Demand Excluding Extra High Voltage Demand

Lighting demand posted an increase of 2.2%. Commercial demand, however, remained even due to a shorter meter-reading period.

Note: Year-on-year changes in commercial power calculated by adjusting figures for the same period one year ago to match 2004 demand categories (for reference only).

(Reference) Large Industrial Demand

Large industrial user demand in November was up for the eleventh consecutive month, increasing by 2.3%. The rise was due to firm performance in the machinery, the steel and the chemicals sectors.
