Concerning the Approximate Date of Arrival of the Eighth Return Shipment of Vitrified Waste from Europe To Japan

The above parties announced today that "Pacific Swan", the ship being used to transport the eighth shipment of vitrified waste which left Cherbourg, France on 4 June 2003, is scheduled to arrive at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, Rokkasho-Mura, Aomori prefecture, on 23 July 2003.
To aid the press in their coverage at the port of Mutsu-Ogawara, a room for the media will be set up. The pressroom will open at 8:30 AM local time on 23 July.
